Ultra low viscosity volatile liquid
Different cooling systems will use different fluorocarbons and fluorinated liquids as refrigerants, which have low viscosity and are relatively easy to evaporate and vaporize. For the characteristics of such system media, the selected delivery pump needs to have good self-lubricating properties in order to maintain good reliability in the cooling system. Especially after the cooling system is shut down for a long time, a large amount of gas may accumulate at the front end of the pump inlet. When the pump is restarted, it needs to discharge these gases from the main circuit without lubrication and dry operation, and then draw the subsequent liquid into the pump and pressurize it into the working cycle. If the pump does not have dry running ability or self-priming ability, it will not be able to work properly in this system.
The MPB series miniature magnetic gear pump is designed with repeated testing of the selected materials, gear profile, and processing technology. Therefore, all NP series products can operate dry for up to an hour at high speeds without any additional wear, and can stably work under pressure of up to 20 bar for low viscosity Freon liquids for a long time.

High precision temperature control system
High end chillers also have high requirements for temperature control accuracy. The flow rate of traditional centrifugal pumps fluctuates greatly with pressure, making it difficult to achieve precise control of the flow rate. And gear pumps, due to their special pump body structure, can precisely control flow accuracy. It can be clearly seen from the following figure that when the outlet system pressure of the pump fluctuates by 0.5 bar, even if the speed remains unchanged, the flow fluctuation of the centrifugal pump reaches 0.45 m3/h, while the flow fluctuation of the Sofu micro magnetic gear pump is less than 0.06 m3/h when the outlet pressure fluctuation reaches 4 bar.
Microchannel cooling system with low flow rate and high pressure
Microchannel cooling system refers to a cooling system with a flow channel diameter of 0.01-1 mm. Compared to conventional liquid cooling systems, the main feature of micro heat exchangers is that they have a large heat transfer area per unit volume. Correspondingly, its heat transfer coefficient per unit volume is 1-2 orders of magnitude higher than that of ordinary heat exchangers. However, at the same time, due to the reduction of liquid flow channels, the outlet pressure of the pump will increase significantly, usually from a pressure of 1 bar, which is about 10 meters, to a head of 3-6 bar or even higher. The parameters of low flow and high pressure are most suitable for the performance of gear pumps.

Some Freon refrigerants have a relatively high system pressure during operation, reaching 40-60 bar. The Suofu NP series products with a pressure resistance of 100 bar are very suitable for the use of such high static pressure systems.

The magnetic gear pump adopts a magnetic coupling, which eliminates the dynamic seal that is prone to leakage. In addition, the NP series can provide fully welded pump bodies without static seals. For systems with high integration, low failure rates and maintenance free operation capabilities will bring great convenience to the system's deployment and use. The structural form of the pump body and motor can be customized for design. It can meet the requirements of different systems for product structure size, import and export orientation, power supply form, and control mode.
In practical use of the system, the magnetic gear pump needs to ensure the cleanliness of the conveyed liquid. It is recommended to install a filter with a mesh size of not less than 400 at the pump inlet, and the nominal flow rate of the filter should be 1.5 to 2 times greater than the pump flow rate.
The inlet diameter, layout, subcooling, insulation, pump operating speed, and other parameters of the pump have a significant impact on the stable operation of systems using Freon.
